DATA PROTECTION NOTICE TO USERS OF THE MANAGED LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
To provide access to online training materials, a limited set of personal data will be used in the Learning Management System service procured from e2train. All personal data, as defined in the Data Protection Act of 1998, will be processed in accordance with the privacy rights of the individuals using the system, and only for the purpose of administrating the training system. The data will be extracted from Electronic Staff Records system and other Human Resources databases. e2train have met the required NHS contractual and legal obligations for confidentiality and data protection and are authorised by your Trust to conduct this administration on your Trust’s behalf. On the first occasion that you log in to the Managed Learning Environment you will be requested to access the personal information to check that it is all correct. In accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1998, all "data subjects" (You are a data subject) may at any time submit a request for access to your personal data. By entering your user name and password to log in, you agree to the use of your personal data for the purposes described above. Alternatively, if you have any concerns and require further information, do not log in, and contact your local Information Governance Lead for assistance.
